Qlara is a marketing and customer-communication platform for small and medium businesses, operated by Agile Telecom S.p.A. From a single dashboard you plan and publish social content, run WhatsApp and SMS campaigns, manage incoming messages, produce visuals for your posts and take appointment bookings from your customers.
Connecting a Google account is always optional. You connect it only if you want Qlara to publish on your Google channels or to keep your bookings in sync with your calendar. Every connection is made by you, from inside Qlara, through Google’s own consent screen, and you can revoke it at any time.
What you can connect
Google Calendar — appointments and bookings
If you take bookings, Qlara publishes a booking page your customers use to pick a slot. To show only the slots you are actually free, Qlara reads the commitments already on your calendars and treats them as busy time. Confirmed bookings are then written back to a dedicated calendar that Qlara creates for you, so your business appointments stay separate from your personal events.
Qlara never modifies or deletes the events it did not create, and never shows the content of your personal events to your customers.
Google Business Profile — your business listing
Qlara publishes the posts and updates you schedule to the business listing you select, alongside the other channels in the same editorial calendar. It reads the listings you manage so you can choose the right one, and writes only the content you approve.
YouTube — your channel
Qlara uploads to your channel the videos you schedule in Qlara, sets their title, description and visibility, and reads back the basic performance figures shown in your Qlara analytics. Videos are uploaded only when you schedule or publish them.
Sign-in with Google
You can sign in to Qlara with your Google account. Qlara receives your name, your profile picture and your primary email address, and uses them to create and identify your Qlara account.
Permissions Qlara asks for, and why
Google shows you the full list of permissions on its own consent screen before you approve anything. Qlara asks only for what the features below need.

How your Google data is used
Qlara’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In practice:
– Google data is used only to provide and improve the features you enabled in Qlara.
– Google data is never sold, and never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
– Google data is never used to train generalised models.
– Access by our staff is limited to what is strictly necessary for support you have requested, for security, or where the law requires it.
Data is processed in the European Union under the terms of our Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting your Google account
You stay in control of the connection at all times.
– In Qlara: open Settings → Connected channels and disconnect the Google channel you no longer want.
– In your Google account: open myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove Qlara’s access.
When you disconnect, Qlara stops accessing your Google data and deletes the access credentials it held. The dedicated booking calendar stays in your Google account and remains yours.
Who operates Qlara
Qlara is operated by Agile Telecom S.p.A., Via Baldassarre Peruzzi 26, 41012 Carpi (MO), Italy — VAT IT02804070361. Agile Telecom is part of the Growens group and has been running messaging infrastructure for operators and enterprises since 2002.
The same company owns and operates the domains used by the platform:
– agiletelecom.com — corporate site and the Qlara platform.
– qlara.ai — the Qlara product site.
– xmessage.io — the reseller programme, through which partners offer the same platform to their own customers.
Whichever domain you start from, the Google connection is handled by the same application, operated by Agile Telecom S.p.A.
